Internationally known painter Michael Israel created a number of stunning images during his "Art in Concert" performance at the 2002 Erie County Fair.

Modern provides the waste disposal and recycling needs on the fair grounds.
Modern supplies 30-8 cubic yard containers for trash, 8-30 cubic yard containers for large debris and 50-95 gallon totes for recycling of comingle (glass, tin & plastic).
Service begins two days before the fair and last for three days after the fair has ended. Drivers begin servicing the containers at 11:00 pm until about 9:00 am the following morning.

This years fair Modern disposed of 299 tons of trash, .50 tons of comingle (glass, tin & plastic) and 3 tons of paper and cardboard.

Modern also took part in the daily parade as a proud sponsor of the Family Entertainment Dome.
