GENERAL HOUSEHOLD
RECYCLING GUIDELINES

PLACE IN RECYCLE BIN:

All clear, green and brown food and beverage containers ONLY. Rinse & Remove all plastic caps. Place metal lids in bin. Labels do not have to be removed.

PLACE IN TRASH

Ceramic items, flower pots, crystal, light bulbs, mirrors, ovenware and window glass.

PLACE IN RECYCLE BIN:

All metal and aluminum food and beverage containers. Rinse containers. Remove all plastic lids and caps. Labels do not have to be removed.

PLACE IN TRASH:

All plastic lids and caps. Paint cans, automotive parts, pie, gutters, pots and pans, toys and silverware.

PLACE IN RECYCLE BIN:

Everything that comes with your newspaper. All magazines, catalogs, junk mail office paper and telephone books. Place in brown grocery bag in your bin. Do Not Use Plastic Bags

PLACE IN TRASH:

Pizza boxes, waxed board, hard cover books, tissue paper, napkins, wrapping paper, any food-soiled paper.

PLACE IN RECYCLE BIN:

All brown cardboard. All brown paper bags. Boxboard such as, Cereal, Shoe & Gift boxes. Flatten boxes in 3 feet by 3 feet sections. No Pizza Boxes

PLACE IN TRASH:

Coated boxes
Soiled boxes
Fast food containers (i.e. pizza & wing boxes)

PLACE IN RECYCLE BIN:

All plastic food, beverage and detergent containers with a small neck and screw on lid. Rinse and remove all lids and caps. Labels do not have to be removed. No Plastic Bags.

PLACE IN TRASH:

Anti-freeze, motor oil, plates, bags, tableware, medicine bottles or tupperware. No wide mouth containers such as yogurt, cottage cheese, butter tubs & deli containers. All plastic lids and caps.

Please make sure your Recycle Bin is visible by 6am for collection. Moving? Remember, the Recycle Bin stays with the house.
